Software Installation

The driver is provided as a downloadable Windows installer package via HTTP link. The installer filename indicates the driver version (e.g., updd_07_01_199.exe).

Installation Steps

  1. Download and save the installer file to your computer

  2. Uninstall any previous driver versions before proceeding

  3. Double-click the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions until you see "Installation has completed"

Post-Installation

The driver should load immediately without requiring a system reboot (except potentially on Windows XP). Upon successful installation, your touch screen should be fully functional with accurate touch registration.

If Issues Occur:

  • Touch works but is inaccurate: Run the calibration procedure

  • Touch registers on wrong monitor: Use the Identify procedure

  • No touch response: Reboot your system if prompted. If touch still doesn't work after reboot, consult the troubleshooting documentation

The Driver Daemon process launches automatically by default. To access Commander, navigate to the UPDD application folder and launch it manually.

Test utility

A test utility exists to test the touch screen function and other software features.

Uninstall

To remove the software, locate the UPDD entry in Windows Apps and Features (or the equivalent uninstall option for your Windows version) and select it.
